Shan Koe Mee (Shan Koe Mee) Game Guide
Shan Koe Mee is a card game that has been popular in Myanmar for generations and is now widely played on online platforms. A good understanding of how each round works will sharpen your play and make the game more enjoyable.
Basic Gameplay
- Each player is dealt 3 cards.
- Add up the numbers on all 3 cards and take only the last digit as your score — 9 is the highest.
- The Banker may choose to draw an extra card (Twist) and decide based on their own strategy.
- Each player competes against the Banker individually.
- The player with the highest score takes the pot.
Special Hands
Well-known special hands in Myanmar games include Three of a Kind (all 3 cards with the same number), Straight (consecutive numbers), and Pair (2 cards with the same number). When these special hands occur, you can win double or more compared to a normal win — depending on the rules of that game.
The Banker Role and Rotation
In traditional Myanmar rules, the Banker role rotates to each player one turn at a time. For rules regarding the Banker role on online platforms, check the specific game's settings before you play.
Bankroll Management
Avoid playing beyond the spending limit you have set for yourself. Only play with money you can afford to lose — this is the core principle of responsible gambling.
